Fragmented Souls Series 2 - Brämsbane

As Kkorthn sifted through the remnant ashes of his brothers, he sensed that it was near... a weapon containing godlike power that could only be summoned and obtained through the Blood Culling, the generational Battle Royale amongst his clan where only one could survive.

Being the last one standing, and like those before him, the Reckoning had passed on to him. The ability to foresee the fates of those around him would slowly decay his mind over the centuries to come, and he welcomed it.

At long last, as he lifted the skeletal remains of one of his fallen brothers above his head, the gleam of the blade caught his eye. He had found it: Brämsbane, the Edge of Ruin.

This is a large, high quality embroidered patch that is approximately 4.3" wide by 6.25" tall and has a heat transfer backing. The patch comes bagged and boarded on a backer card that has the name and release date of the design.

Iron-on instructions

My patches have a commercial grade heat transfer backing, so they need more heat time than a normal patch when applying. They will outlast most other patches when applied properly.

Be sure to use a low setting on your iron. First, heat the garment for a good 30-45 seconds on low to warm it up. Then, put the patch on the warm area of the garment and place a sheet of wax paper over it to protect the fibers of the patch. Use the iron to apply the patch and hold it for about 30-45 seconds and it should stick on really well without a problem.

A heat gun will also work really well to quickly apply patches, but you'll need to be careful so you don't burn your garment or the patch. We use a SEEKONE Heat Gun set to 500º and keep it pulled away from the items for indirect heat, which works really well. Be sure to start with a lower temp and work your way up to avoid damaging your garment.

Other options are a heat press if you have access to one (your local screen print shop might have one) or, oddly enough, a hair straightener actually works even better than an iron because it heats the garment from both sides at once.

Finally, sewing is always an option if you're hardcore or old school.
