My 10 year old daughter is a growing artist who loves Halloween. As an avid illustrator and storyteller, she is continually coming up with amazing new creations that always impress me.

This cute little cat is her interpretation of a design I was working on last year that didn't make the cut but lives in my archives. Her rendition is much more animated than mine, and I must say she nailed it. It is a 1.5" tall soft enamel pin with two rubber clutches and the Seventh.Ink logo mark stamped on the back.

This is part of the Little Peanut Artist Series featuring artwork by my daughter, Jade Johnson. Having grown up in Minnesota, I felt a sense of pride knowing that Charles Schultz was born in Minneapolis and grew up in St. Paul, one of the cities that I too grew up in. Jade and I share a love of the Peanuts characters and culture, so it seemed only fitting that we make this fun series into a partial homage to the brilliant work of Charles Schultz. Profits from the sale of this pin will go into a college fund for Jade.
